Said by the commentators during the Ohio State vs. Miami game tonight when discussing the B10.  They said Michigan is the most improved team in the B10 this year (as evidenced by their UCLA and Savannah State games), but that Penn State is much improved this season.

Considering Iowa was P P last year, they are a LOT moire improved than PSU, IMHO.
TWT
but it will be a LOT harder getting those other 4 wins this year.

How is that Sav State game evidence that UM is improved?? The comeback? It's Savannah State.

Was the kid thrown out for Miami named Rios? He was ranked two or three spots above Battle in same class.

Rarely went to Siena games, and it they played at the big arena(3 different names due to sponsor of the year) which was only 150 yds. from my office. It does seem like everybody's from Albany though, doesn't it?  Wink I think it was hewey who termed it, "6 degrees of separation from Albany."

Zieglinski on UVA has to be worst pg in major DI ball. Can't wait to see the TO count. If it's less than 6, he's bribing the scorekeeper. I can see why Al Nolen gives Battle fits. Fast, strong and athletic. Also seems much more interested in playing defense. Will be interesting matchup.

Can't help plug going to NYS games this Feb/Mar. It's during NCAA's, so if PSU is in it, maybe not Wink, but otherwise you see guys like Sylven Landesburg, leading scorer on UVA at 21 ppg, whose Holy Cross team got blown out by Lance Stephenson's Lincoln team after Lance beat Maginn by 6 points or so.  Sylven not doing so hot vs. MN, 0-9 so far. 6'6" guard though, pretty impressive, and 2nd leading scoring freshman in country.

Zeglinski looks terrible vs. Nolan. He has played some very good games already this season. Looking at his stats, he does have some TO problems. I am surprised at how well Landesburg is playing this season. I guess he knocked Jeff Jones right out of the lineup. Minny is gonna be tough, and they just keep getting recruits. Should be interesting to see what Tubby can build up there.
