South Bend Tribune : Phillips, Washington share Lions' roar

South Bend Tribune:

"Emily Phillips believes she has a lot in common with Coquese Washington.

"That turns out to be a very good thing for Washington, the new Penn State women's basketball coach.

"Phillips, a senior point guard at South Bend Washington, is the first recruit for Washington. She informed the Nittany Lions' coach of her decision Monday, making a verbal commitment to play at Penn State starting in 2008. ..."
